The Art Academy is owned and run by Lydia Sanderson M.A. Lydia has a first class honours degree in Community Art, a Master of Arts in Art, Craft and Design Education, is an accomplished painter and has been teaching in schools and at The Art Academy, Epsom for over twenty years.

The Art Academy has a wonderful atmosphere, plenty of space and boasts a vast art library. Quality materials and delicious refreshments are provided and pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, skills and joy in making art. Classes are fun and pupils can relax whilst they discover which materials and subjects they enjoy working with. GCSE and A’level support is offered through teenage classes alongside pupils who are making art purely for pleasure. The Art Academy is inclusive and those with learning difficulties or disabilities are encouraged to be part of a place where every person is valued and welcomed as equal.
